When I decided to do an Onnit Total Primate Care review, I really didn’t know what to expect. I knew that Total Primate Care contained a plethora of the best supplements offered by Onnit, but I wasn’t sure about taking so many pills. My wife told me not to take them because she thought it was too much. It was then that I realized that many people probably have the same trepidation when it comes to Total Primate Care. I mean, I was a little sketched out about taking two packs of different pills every day and I am a huge fan of Onnit products (see my Alpha Brain Review). I can only imagine what other people think who have never even given Onnit products a try in the past.
Once I explained what Total Primate Care is to my wife, she was on board. Secretly I think it was effects of New Mood that swayed her. But it got me to thinking that if someone broke down exactly what Total Primate Care entails, with no bias opinions, then maybe it would help some people out. So this review is going to be a little different than the others. I am going to be updating this page as we go through the 15 days (I had to compromise and tell her I’d only do the 15-day trial). I will be giving pictures, videos, and writing about my experience….so stay tuned!

Day 1 – Onnit Total Primate Care Begins
So I got my Onnit Total Primate Care in the afternoon. I actually met the FedEx guy at the door. I was pumped. Then I realized that it is taken in the morning and at night. So instead of waiting until the next day, I decided to start my trial of Total Primate Care that night. I recorded this video of myself unboxing my package from Onnit. You’ll see that I also got more Alpha Brain Instant as well as a bottle of New Mood. I actually decided to take an extra New Mood pill every night to make it a full dose. New Mood is a supplement that is designed to optimize serotonin levels. Serotonin is a neurotransmitter that has been linked to mood, happiness, and a more positive outlook. This is one of the biggest factors of me taking Total Primate Care. I wanted to give New Mood a try.
(Note: You’ll see I was so pumped that I had to put on my Onnit hoodie that I got on clearance for $10 last year! Love that thing!)
Day 2: Total Primate Care Kicking In
So after a full day of taking Total Primate Care I am already feeling the difference. Today I woke up at 5:27 at the first alarm on my phone and got right up and started working. I have a to-do list that I try to create the night before to keep me on task. I flew through my list, which included writing 3 articles to publish on various websites. I was able to sit down and write them without coming up for a breath. All well over 500 words. I still had energy after that too! I got so much done today that I thought something was wrong!
The other thing that struck me was my overall mood and happiness. I’m usually a pretty positive guy. I try to stay upbeat and have fun. With that being said I do work from home with (at the time of this writing) a two-year-old who is CRUSHING her “Terrible Two’s” and a two-month-old who obviously demands a lot of attention. Needless to say, I have a little stress going on in my life! But today was great. I could actually feel myself taking an extra second to take a breath and tell myself that it’s ok. To me…that extra second is the most valuable gift in the world.
Anyway…I recorded a video of how I’m doing at day 2. I’ll check back in tomorrow!
(Note: Yes I cut my own hair…before you ask!)
Day 3: Felt Something Coming On
So day 3 of Total Primate Care Review was a bit of a test. I have EXTREME allergies in the springtime. I actually have to wear a mask to cut the grass. I look like Darth Vader in the front lawn and I probably scare all the kids in the neighborhood. But if I don’t wear it I will be out of commission for at least two weeks. So today I really think every house in our neighborhood thought it would be a great idea to cut their lawn. So I went out for my run and I immediately couldn’t breathe. It felt like my lungs were closing up and I was in big trouble.
Later on I still felt a little something in my throat so I thought I was going to be sick for sure. I took my nighttime Total Primate Care pack and figured I was going to wake up a mess. I was pleasantly surprised when I woke up and was completely fine. Not a tickle in the throat or anything. Actually, I had a ton of energy and didn’t have to drink 3 cups of coffee before being able to respond to human interaction. Ya know, come to think of it, I have only had 2 cups of coffee since starting Total Primate Care. Hmm. That may be the Shroom Tech Sport! Well…that’s all I have for day 3. I’m going to keep on trucking. I’ll let you know how tomorrow goes!
Day 4: The Calm Without The Storm
So my lovely two-year-old daughter decided to test out my Total Primate Care today and specifically how New Mood was treating me. As I have said on this site before, she is smack dab in the middle of her “Terrible Two’s”. One thing I know I have to work on as a parent is my patience. It is something that I am desperately trying to get ahold of and something that gets tested to the limits on a daily basis.
So I’m not going to get into the specifics, but let’s just say that a situation that I would normally feel my heart beating out of my chest occurred today and I was actually able to relax and remain calm throughout the entire episode. While I would love to take all the credit in the world and say that it’s me turning a new leaf, I’m not a dummy. I know that the New Mood is giving me clarity in these situations and allowing me the extra second to relax, take a breath, and really tell myself that it’s not the end of the world. We always tell ourselves to pick our battles. I feel that since taking the Total Primate Care packs I have actually taken the time to pick which battle is worth it. And to be honest, not many have been!
Day 5: Onnit TPC is Fighting it Off
This is a continuation from before of my official Onnit Total Primate Care Review. I picked up right where I left off. It is December 28, 2017 as I write this. I hope you enjoy the remainder of the post!
So it’s been a little hectic here lately. Everyone has been sick with a cold (Tis the Season!). But I have felt great! I have not caught the bug yet, which is awesome. I have been lively and ready to take on the day. I’ve never taken the Shroom Tech Immune by itself before, only in the Onnit TPC packs, but something is working against the sickness that has engulfed my house, and I have to believe it’s that!
I am taking a short hiatus from working out until the holidays are over. I have a big tournament that I am going to be preparing for so I am hoping that taking my Primate Care Packs from Onnit will give me the edge I need on the court to get my game back to where it was.
The one drawback that I can report with my TPC packs is that I have had a couple where the Spirulina and Chlorella tablets were crushed a little bit. That was a bummer because I don’t know if I was able to get the whole serving in me. But other than that, everything has been going great!
Day 6: Excellent Sleep from the New Mood!
So I almost forgot my TPC this morning. I was running late and had to run back inside to grab my pack before I left.
I have actually been getting asked one question a lot that I wanted to address today while I remembered. I keep getting asked whether I find it hard to swallow all of the pills that come in the Total Primate Care packets. At first, it kind of was a struggle for me if I’m being honest. I was taking them one at a time and, as you know, there are quite a few pills in each packet. It was pretty tedious and the more I thought about it, the more I struggled. Now I don’t waste any time. I just throw the whole thing in and swig a few big gulps of water and take it all down at once. I found that it’s like ripping off a band-aid…the more time I take, the more I struggle. So I just get it done.
But back to my experience with Primate Care. I have noticed that I have been getting much more solid sleep lately. Now it may be that I am so dog tired from the Holidays and running around all the time. But I don’t find myself tossing and turning nearly as much as I used to. The New Mood that is in the TPC packets might be the answer. They are supposed to increase your serotonin levels naturally and give you a more restful sleep. Whatever it is, whether it is my crazy kids driving me nutso during the Holidays or the New Mood, I am pretty stoked that I am getting some solid Z’s the past few nights.
Day 7 – I’ve Finally Succumbed to the Sickness
I’ve been fighting it off forever…but it finally happened. I finally caught a cold that my entire family has been sneezing and coughing and spreading around the house for days. I can’t believe I held it off for this long. I still plan on going through with my plan of working out and getting back to the grind, even though I can only breathe through one nostril! I’m pretty sure the ViruTech and Shroom TECH Immune in my Total Primate Care will have me back in no time.
Day 8 – Benefits of Shroom TECH Sport?
So it’s been a while since I’ve worked out or ran. As I said in my previous post about my half marathon journey, I tore my meniscus training for that run when I almost got hit by a car. So instead of powering through the pain, I decided to actually be sensible for once and take time to heal. Plus, the holidays made it pretty hard to do much this year. But I had the goal of focusing more on that aspect as soon as the holidays were over. So I got back into it today and thought I was going to be hurting. I’m not sure what it is, but I powered through my workout like I never took a day off at all….and it’s been almost a month! I lifted arms and shoulders and then got a run in on the treadmill.
I’m not sure what to attribute it to. Whether it’s the TPC packs or whether I’m just that much of a freaking BEAST…but I am afraid given the choice of the two…I tend to think it’s more Primate Care than Beast. We’ll see how I’m feeling tomorrow.
Day 9 – Stron BONE Helping My Joints?
So I worked out yesterday and fully expected to feel like I got hit by a Mack Truck today. But I woke up and felt amazing. No pain, no soreness at all! I looked up the ingredients in my Total Primate CAre packs and noticed the Stron BONE. This helps with bone health and targets the joints with 3 natural compounds. I read up more on this because something had to give. I usually feel like a big pile of worthless the day after I come back to working out, but I feel amazing.
Take a look at the ingredients in Stron BONE. And this is only ONE of the pills that’s included in TPC.
Day 10 – Still Going Strong
I have been back in the saddle wit running for a few days now. I have had to switch to the treadmill because as you can see….there is no way I can run outside where I live.
Usually, the treadmill gives me trouble. I typically just don’t have the motivation to do it. It barely keeps my attention for a mile, even when I have Netflix going while I run. Which…by the way is my only opportunity to watch Netflix shows. I won’t allow myself to watch them unless I’m running. But, anyway, the past few days I have been going very strong on the treadmill which has surprised me. To the point where I have to get off before I’m ready. OR before I feel like I have to stop. The only thing I can attribute this extra boost of focus to is the TPC packs.
As far as the cold goes, yes, I am still sick. But when I normally get a cold, I’m down and out. You can stick a fork in me because I am done. I don’t work. I don’t do anything. But this time I have gotten more work done and been more productive than even before I was sick!
Day 11 – I Got a Bad Pack
Today I experienced one of the only pitfalls that I have found with the Onnit Total Primate Care Packs. I got a pack where my Spirulina & Chlorella tablets were broken and half powder. Now I know that tablets sometimes break and I get that…but why did it have to be the tablets that taste like two-day old lawn clippings? This is the only negative I have found with TPC. So my advice to you…don’t chew the green tablets. Unless you like the taste of wheatgrass times 10.
Day 12 – Doubled Up on the TPC
So today I did something that I never thought of before. I doubled up on my daytime pack and took two. I am still feeling a little under the weather and wanted to see if I could knock it out. The results were pretty cool. So if you think about it, this is basically like taking a full dose of Alpha Brain and Shroom TECH Sport. This is something I’ve done anyway, taking both of them alongside TPC, so I knew it would be OK. But I really felt great! I felt like I wasn’t even sick anymore during the day. And had energy and focus like I was trying to impress someone all day. Now I don’t recommend you do this all the time. I like to keep to my two packs a day. But today I wanted an extra kick in the pants for my immune system. But the other benefits were something unexpected pleasantly surprising!
Day 13 – Total Primate Care Side Effects
So I’ve been asked this a few times by people who have been following this review.
“Are there any side effects to taking Total Primate Care?”
To be honest, I haven’t had any. For anyone that ha read anything from my site in the past, you may know that I suffer from migraines a great deal, and have for most of my adult life. I tried everything to get rid of them and no medication seems to work. So whenever I hear anyone mention the words “side effect” I immediately think of headaches. The crazy thing is that I haven’t had one single headache, let alone a migrain, since starting Onnit TPC daily. I thought maybe I would yesterday with the overload I took when doubling up. But not even then.
The other thing that I’ve read from some other supplements and “natural remedies” is stomach irritation. I have been completely regular (for lack of a better term) since I started as well. This is something that always makes me nervous, too. Let’s face it, no one like to be irregular in that department.
So the two main side effects that are typically associated with taking supplements have been a complete non-issue for me.
Day 14 – The TPC Ingredients
I wanted to take a closer look at the ingredients and give you guys an idea of what has been making me feel so strongly about Total Primate Care. Here is a screenshot of the nutritional label taken from Onnit’s website.
Day 15 – The Verdict Is In!
So after taking the 15-day Onnit Total Primate Care trial, I am happy to report I’ve already ordered more. And on rush shipping so I don’t miss anything. I have tried a lot of supplements in my day. Mostly to optimize my workouts and recovery. I never really believed in vitamins or vitamin packs. I decided to give this a try because I’ve had really good experience with Onnit products in the past. I didn’t have tremendously high expectations because, like I said, I didn’t think that this stuff really worked. I didn’t believe that you could actually FEEL a difference in your body from a vitamin pack. I just thought people took them to supplement what they’re not getting from their regular diet.
I could not have been more wrong. This experience has totally blown me away. I can’t say enough about how I feel. From the level of focus and concentration I put into my work every day. To my energy levels being higher than ever without the assistance of extra coffee or shots of pure caffeine that just make you crash a few hours later.
But even my joints and the seemingly chronic pains I was having. I think back to the beginning of my TPC journey, which was only 15 days ago. But I feel like a new man. I was hurting. Just sore getting out of bed. Had no desire to work out because of the pain it would cause the next day. Now I feel like I can’t even get sore. And it’s only been 15 freaking days!
The thing that my wife likes and noticed is that my overall mood has improved dramatically. I think her exact words were, “you weren’t as much of an a** as before.” I try to live my life in a positive way. I don’t surround myself with negativity or anything that might bring me down. Just because I believe that there’s no reason to have that in your life. But let’s face it, being a work from home father to two kids under 4 can be a little stressful. I can honestly say that I have been able to deal with the daily stresses much better the past two weeks.
Look, I’m not here to tell you that this is some miracle drug or that it will solve all of your problems. Hell, I don’t even know if all of these benefits I’m rattling off are purely coincidence or some kind of placebo effect. But what I do know is that I am older than I’ve ever been in my life. And I’ve never felt better all around than I have in the past two weeks. And that says something.
