Become a Beachbody Coach

Team BeachbodyI have gotten a ton of questions lately from people wanting to become a Beachbody Coach.  While I do think it is the greatest thing that has ever happened to me personally, I know that it can be a pretty intimidating venture to get started in.  To be completely honest, I know many successful coaches who got started just because they wanted to get the discounts on all of the products they are using anyway.  I wasn’t completely sure about working the business and doing anything with it myself.  But after a little while, I came to grips with the fact that I was not happy with my current situation.  I was not happy with the types of jobs I was working.  I did not like breaking my back, working physically demanding jobs for barely enough money to get by, while the people at the top of the company got to reap the benefits of my hard work.  It was something that absolutely nauseated me!  I knew I had become a Beachbody Coach for a reason and that it was a tremendous opportunity, but I also knew that I had to change in order to become successful with it.

My Decision to Become a Beachbody Coach

I remember the first time my coach called me after I had become a Beachbody Coach.  By the way, I did not get brought into the business by anyone in particular.  I had sniffed around at the opportunity from afar, but was never approached by anyone.  I had been contemplating it for a while, and finally decided to give it a shot.  I am very grateful that I got placed onto the team that I did, but the first time my coach called me, I am embarrassed to say…I ignored the call!!!  I did not want to talk to someone I didn’t know about why I got involved in the business and what my goals and dreams were.  Why would I divulge that to someone I had never talked to before?  I had made the decision to become a Beachbody Coach on my own, and I figured that I could work the business on my own!  Well…I quickly realized that I needed a little bit of help so I called her back (eventually).  I was so nervous!  I don’t really know why…she really is the sweetest person!  It was just the way I had become.  I had let life beat me down so much over the past few years, that I was not the same person anymore.  Didn’t have the same confidence.  I tried to take as many notes as I could because I figured that I would just get as much info out of her as I could, then go work this thing on my own!  I had no idea what Shakeology was, what Insanity or TurboFire were.  I was lost!  I decided that I better plug into some of the training and start to learn a little more about what I had gotten myself into!

When I Really Started to Become a Beachbody Coach

Become a Beachbody CoachI had become a Beachbody Coach to get out of the 9-5 lifestyle and be my own boss, working towards my own future.  But I never knew what it would entail.  I was actually going to have to open up…be friendly…talk to people!!!  Oh no!!!  I was not the type of person to strike up a conversation with a complete stranger at all.  I was worried that I was way over my head!  I started plugging into the trainings, the calls, and the community that our own team has and slowly but surely, I started to change.  I started to open up and I actually began making friends!  The people I have met after I had made the decision to become a Beachbody Coach are some of the coolest people!  It is the strangest thing when I think of how I carried myself before I had become a Beachbody Coach.  I was distant and shy.  Now I will talk to anyone.  It’s amazing to me how much the whole experience has changed me.  And to think…it almost didn’t happen.  I almost didn’t call my coach back!!!  What would have happened to me if I had chosen to go at this alone?  I know for a fact that I wouldn’t be where I am today in the business.  I most likely would have quit and sworn off anything to do with Beachbody.  So I guess the moral of my story is that if you make the decision to become a Beachbody Coach….make sure you make the decision to commit to it.  You are so much better off on a team of people who will help and guide you than you ever could be on your own.  Make sure you reach out and engage with your team and become a member of its community.  You will make life-long friends and learn how to accomplish those goals and dreams.  I’m so glad I picked the phone up and called my coach back (eventually).

When you decide to take those steps in changing your own life around and you see the changes in your body by exercising and feeling good your mindset changes to.
